• 01 When will it arrive?

  Shipping is free worldwide, and orders arrive within 6–10 days. We'll email tracking the moment it leaves us so you're never wondering where it is. Carriers occasionally run a day or two past the window during busy periods, and we appreciate your patience if that happens.

• 02 What if my husband still asks me where everything is?

  That's the entire reason this exists. Every section is printed and labeled before it reaches you, so there's nothing to interpret and no system to explain. He doesn't need to learn how you organize — he opens it and reads the tabs. Most people tell us the questions stop within the first week, because the answer is finally sitting somewhere other than inside your head.

• 03 How long does it take to set up?

  One afternoon. Not a weekend, not a project you schedule and dread. The sorting decisions are already made for you, which is the part that stalls most people — you're not staring at a pile trying to invent categories. You're dropping papers into labeled sections that already exist.

• 04 What actually goes inside it?

  Everything your family currently has to ask you for. Birth certificates, passports, social security cards, insurance policies, medical and vaccination records, the deed or lease, vehicle titles, tax documents, school forms, and a place to write down where the accounts and passwords live. If it's something you're the only one who can find right now, it has a home in here.

• 05 I already have a filing cabinet. Is this different?

  A filing cabinet stores things. It doesn't tell anyone else where they are. The difference is that this is designed to be read by someone who didn't build it — clearly labeled, and clean enough to leave out on a shelf instead of buried in a drawer or a basement. A system nobody can see is a system only you will ever use.

• 06 Do I need a will before I use this?

  No. They do different jobs. A will settles who receives what; this settles where everything is — which is the part your family needs on an ordinary Tuesday, not just someday. If you already have a will, this is where it lives so someone can actually find it. If you don't, this is the far easier place to start.

• 07 Is it hard to keep up once it's set up?

  It's the opposite of the binder that gets abandoned by week two. There's no ongoing system to maintain — when a new document arrives, it goes in the section that's already labeled for it. Ten seconds, no decision required. That's what makes it survive past the first month.

• 08 What if it isn't right for me?

  You have 30 days, and we'd rather you actually use it than leave it sealed in the box. If it doesn't change how your household runs, email us within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund you — no shipping it back, no restocking fee, no explanation required. We think you'll want to keep it, but the month is genuinely yours to decide.
